Browning will reimburse firearm buyers 8% sales tax in April.

Browning is offering buyers of new firearms a reimbursement for the sales tax.

The offer is from April 15-30,  and Browning will reimburse buyers as much as 8 percent for the sales tax.The state sales tax rate in Texas is 8.25 percent.

The offer excludes Buck Mark and 1911-22 pistols and is available only in the United States.

Here’s how it works:

  • Purchase any new Browning firearm from a preferred Browning dealer during the time period.
  • Make or get a copy of your receipt.
  • When you get home, fill out the Tax Relief program coupon and send it in to Browning. The coupon will be available April 15 on the Browning website — click on the news tab, then promotions.

If you purchase your new Browning in a “no sales tax” state, send in your coupon for special consideration.

The coupon must be filled out completely and returned to Browning with supporting documents as listed, postmarked no later than midnight May 15. Browning employees, Browning sales representatives, authorized Browning dealers and their sales staff, and members of their immediate families are not eligible for this promotion. It is limited to one offer per person. Participants must be citizens or legal residents of the United States.
